Drive, motor and power-electronics parts
This collection includes frequency drives, drive operator panels, communication cards, converters and position or axis-control modules. Live product names include KEB F5 drives and panels, Omron MX2 variable-frequency drives and a communication card, Siemens 6SE70 AC-AC or vector drives, and a B&R 3NC154.60-2 positioning module. These products may control the same machine without sharing a role or electrical interface. For replacement, compare full catalogue code, power and voltage class, motor label, control signals, communication interface, parameters and firmware in the technical documents. A partial model name or similar enclosure does not prove substitution compatibility.
KEB F5 drives and operator panels
Operator panels such as 00.F5.060-1000 and 00.F5.060-2000 and F5 drive codes such as 14.F5.C1D-380A or 15.F5.C1E-350A may be listed in this collection. An operator panel is not the same component as a power-conversion drive. Verify the full model, hardware revision, display or keypad, connector, drive family code and interface to the machine control card. For a drive replacement, review mains voltage, phase, motor rating and nameplate, current, braking resistor, I/O, encoder or communication card and saved parameters. Those details may not all appear in a product title; photograph the drive label and motor plate. Commissioning and parameter transfer should follow manufacturer procedures and be performed by authorized electrical or automation staff.
Omron MX2 drive and communication card
Product names may include MX2 references such as 3G3MX2-A2075-E, A4007-E, A4040-E, A4055-E and A4110-E, together with a 3G3AX-MX2-ECT communication card. Within an MX2 family, suffix characters can distinguish product size, input/output or accessory variants; confirm them in the code table. For a drive replacement, compare mains supply, motor current, application requirements, I/O, mounting dimensions, communication protocol and parameter backup. A communication accessory such as ECT should not be assumed to fit a drive just because its model name looks similar; verify hardware and firmware compatibility in the drive documentation. Review the current drive label, exact card reference and machine cabinet diagram together.
Siemens 6SE70 converters and vector drives
The list includes 6SE70 product codes such as 6SE7011-5EP60, 6SE7013-0EP60, 6SE7015-0EP60, 6SE7018-0EP60 and 6SE7021-0EP60, described as AC-AC converters or vector drives. The full code is needed to distinguish product configuration and power-stage variant. “6SE70” as a family name does not establish matching supply, motor, current, power section, control card, software or parameters and connections. Find model code and technical data from a Siemens product document or device label and identify the module and unit in the machine drawing. Changes to a drive, opening covers, wiring and parameter loading involve high voltage. Authorized electrical staff should determine discharge time and machine-isolation procedure.
Position and axis-control modules
A positioning or multi-axis control module such as B&R 3NC154.60-2 may not be a frequency inverter itself. It can operate within a system architecture that includes a CPU, fieldbus, axis drives, motor feedback and machine software. Confirm suffix, controller family, slot, communication path, connected axes and hardware revision in B&R documentation. If the listing describes a function such as three-axis control, also check the actual axis and licensing configuration in the machine. When changing a drive or axis module, retain parameter backup, motor data, encoder type, limit and reference settings in the system records. Photograph the old module’s front and side label and rear connections. A module with the same physical dimensions may not match the control family or machine program.
Motor label, code and application parameters
Before choosing a drive, have a maintenance specialist compare the machine and motor labels: maker, full model, rated voltage, frequency, current, power, wiring configuration and speed. Do not estimate these values from the collection. Record the catalogue number and suffixes on the current drive alongside control card, I/O, communication card, brake chopper or resistor, filter and cabinet mounting details. The machine application may be a fan, pump, conveyor, spindle or servo axis; control mode and encoder arrangement vary with the task. Authorized staff should secure the parameter backup, alarm history and communication settings before removing the old drive. A small difference in the part code can identify a different device.
Fault and replacement workflow
Record the drive alarm, motor sound, speed deviation, overcurrent or overvoltage observation and event time in the machine log. These symptoms may involve the motor, load, cable, cooling, supply, parameters, encoder or control signal as well as the drive. Replacing the drive immediately may not address the root cause. A technical team should follow the maker’s fault guide and safely inspect supply and motor connections. After selecting a replacement, installation, parameter transfer, I/O and communication checks, motor direction and machine safety checks should follow site procedures under authorized staff. Collection copy does not approve product status, software fit or commissioning. Add before-and-after code and settings files to the maintenance archive.

A motor-feedback sensor, PLC output and drive communication card have different product roles; being used together does not establish cross-compatibility. Include full drive or panel code, supply and motor label, control-card or communication variant, firmware and machine model in the quote request. Compare against manufacturer datasheets, application guides and the machine wiring diagram. Do not record an unverified alternative as compatible with the current part.
Keep the drive and motor in one reference file
The drive code and motor nameplate identify separate products, but should be reviewed together for replacement. Record input voltage, phase, current, power stage and software variant for the drive; record rated voltage, current, frequency, connection and speed for the motor. The machine task may require speed control, precise positioning or a synchronized axis, and replacement can affect control mode, encoder feedback and a communication card. Matching only the power value does not confirm every motor and control-system requirement. Show the relationship between a KEB F5 panel and drive, Omron MX2 communication card or Siemens 6SE70 power stage in the cabinet diagram. Authorized staff should back up current parameters and communication settings before removing the device. This record supports commissioning and troubleshooting after the change.
